One Roll, One Day | August 2016

I did this cool project a few years ago called One Roll, One Day. A group of photographers from all over the world set out with one roll and a goal to document their day. Every now and again, I go back to that. I was renting a lens that I was thinking of buying (always rent before you buy, and yes, I bought it! Sigma 35mm Art for the lens nerds) and wanted to test it out on my film camera since I shoot primarily film. Usually it takes a week or longer to go through an entire roll for personal use, but wanted to get them developed sooner rather than later, so one roll, one day it was!

Day photographed: August 27, 2016

For the filmy nerds: Canon EOS 3 | Kodak Portra 400 | Sigma 35mm Art | Richard Photo Lab

I love these, and I think it’s such an awesome idea! ❤️These are
